The Bold and the Beautiful Recap for Today, Monday, December 4, 2023
What happened today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Donna panics when Eric suffers a medical emergency. Zende confronts RJ about his new place at Forrester.
B&B Recap Today
Ridge expresses to Brooke his concern that Eric should be at the hospital and that they should be there with him instead of focusing on a party. Brooke hugs Ridge as she tells him that things will be fine. Hope walks in and asks if something happened to Eric, but Brooke reassures her that he is stable.
They reveal that Eric wants to throw a big party. Brooke explains that Eric thinks it could be the best medicine for him. Ridge disagrees and thinks that the best medicine is to be there for Eric and support him. Hope sympathizes with Ridge and offers her support before he leaves to see RJ. Hope then expresses her disbelief that Eric wants to throw a party, but Brooke explains that they should do what is important to Eric. Hope acknowledges that it must be hard for her mother, who shares two children with Eric, to attend the party and put on a good face. Hope notes that she cannot imagine Forrester Creations without Eric and she doesn’t want to. Brooke points out that his legacy will live on forever but it will never be the same without him.
B&B Recap Today
Donna panics as Eric collapses. She checks his pulse and pleads for a response. She grabs her phone and Eric begins to mumble, regaining consciousness. Donna reaches for her phone but Eric tells her not to make any calls because he is fine. She admits that she thought he was dead. Eric says he doesn’t have much time and they need to do the party right away. Donna gets Eric some water as he tells her that time is winding down, and she begs him to stop saying that. Eric assures her that he is going to go on with his life. Donna tells him that this entire thing is breaking her heart and she doesn’t want a party. He begs her to put a smile on her face
B&B Recap Today
Zende and RJ meet in the design office. Zende mentions that this used to be his office, but RJ offers to use another space. Zende then looks at RJ’s latest design and tells him that he has much to learn. RJ admits that he knows and spends a lot of time with their grandfather. Zende asks if RJ is going to throw that in his face again. He then asks RJ if he even went to design school and says that they rolled out the red carpet for him at Forrester just because he is Ridge and Brooke’s son, the golden child.
Zende thinks it’s ridiculous that Eric chose RJ to work with him on the couture line. RJ says he did not work with their grandad because he had an ulterior motive, and if Zende knew the truth, he would understand. RJ admits he was shocked that Eric even asked him to help with designing. Zende claims he is not buying it and demands one good reason why Eric would choose to work with RJ and not him.
At that moment, Ridge walks in and offers to give a good reason, saying that RJ knows something that Zende doesn’t, and maybe it’s time he should. Ridge begs Zende to stop insinuating that RJ is getting special treatment. He admits he was trying to respect his father’s wishes as RJ reveals that Eric did not win the fashion challenge, Ridge won and lied to him. Ridge then goes on to tell him that Eric is dying.
Zende struggles to come to terms with the truth. He reflects on how good Eric has been to him and wants to go see him. Ridge tells him that he cannot do that because Eric doesn’t want anyone to know. A tearful Zende promises to not say anything as Ridge hugs him.
