B&B Recap October 17: Katie and Bill Support Will
At the Spencer estate, Will tells his parents he can’t believe this is happening to him. Katie knows he didn’t do anything wrong. Bill takes full responsibility since he’s the one who got Luna released from prison. But Katie makes it clear that she blames Li after everything she did.
Katie reminds him they’re there for him. Will says he’s not thinking about himself — he’s thinking about Electra, because of him, her whole life has been turned upside down.
Will can’t believe he impregnated a maniac. He worries this whole thing could become too much for Electra and that she might bail on him. He’d hate to lose her because of Luna.
With Will gone, Bill and Katie hold onto hope that Will and Electra will get through this. Because if they can, then maybe they can get through anything.
Poppy Gets the Shocking News
At the hospital, Finn walks in and confronts Li. “Luna is alive because of you,” he says, as she lets out a heavy sigh.
Li explains that she was only trying to help. Poppy walks in and says Finn told her to come. She asks what’s going on, and Finn tells her that Luna is alive.
Poppy tells Finn he can’t joke like that. Finn insists he saw Luna himself, so it’s true. He explains that his mom lied about her death and actually nursed her back to health. Li can see how Poppy must be feeling.
Poppy Learns that Luna’s Pregnant
Poppy takes a moment to process the news, and as soon as it sinks in, she blurts out, “That little bitch is actually alive.”
She lashes out at Li for doing it again—just like she did with Finn. She accuses Luna of framing her for murder and demands to know where Luna is. Finn tells her Luna is in prison.
Poppy smiles, happy because that’s exactly where she thinks Luna deserves to be. But then Finn drops the bomb—there’s more. He tells her they’re going to be grandparents: Luna is pregnant.
Poppy wonders if Luna just met some random stranger and got knocked up. Li says no, that’s not like her. Then Finn reveals the truth—the baby is Will’s.
Deke Meets Electra Forrester
Across the hall in the design office, Deke flashes back to talking with Hope about finding a new designer. Electra walks in, and he quickly introduces himself as Hope’s brother.
Electra introduces herself and tells Deke it’s nice to meet him. She wonders if he’s looking for Hope. He explains that she’s busy going through portfolios for a new designer. Electra comments that there hasn’t been much luck in that department. Deke smiles, hopeful that today might just be someone’s lucky day.
Electra is excited that Hope’s line is finally getting relaunched—she admits she was pretty disappointed when it got bumped. As they talk, Deke explains that he’s a designer, answering her curious question about what he does. She asks if he’s gone to Hope for a job, but he shakes his head, saying he wants to make it in the business on his own.
Deke then starts singing Electra’s praises for her jewelry designs, and she laughs, admitting she already likes him. He leans in a little and reveals his secret: he slipped his portfolio into the stack at Forrester.
Electra calls him a genius and grins, now fully understanding why he’s so nervous.
Will visits Electra at the office. He begs her to be honest about how she really feels about Luna having his baby.
Will says he hates causing her this pain. He doesn’t know what the future holds for them, but what he does know is that right now, she’s the only girl he loves—and he believes somehow, some way, they’ll get through this.
B&B Recap Oct 17: Hope Is Excited to Meet the Mystery Designer
At Forrester Creations, Hope, Ridge, Carter, and Brooke all love the new design. Hope smiles and says she can’t wait to find out who they are and where they’ve been all her life.
Hope says it’s about time they find out who this designer is, since it feels like they hacked her brain.
Carter finds a phone number, and Hope quickly hands him her phone to make the call. She can’t hide how excited she is to finally meet this designer.
Carter dials the number and tells Hope she should make the call. When she does, Deke answers and is stunned that it’s her. She asks him to come to the CEO’s office right away.
Deke tells Electra that his sister wants to see him. She wishes him good luck and says she hopes to see him around.
Later, everyone’s wondering what’s going on when Deke walks in and explains that these are his designs. He admits he didn’t say anything before because he wasn’t looking for any special favors, which puts a smile on everyone’s faces.
Hope tells him the designs are wonderful. She adds that she’s not just saying that because he’s her brother, but genuinely thinks his work is amazing.
Ridge tells Deke that he loves the designs. They are all impressed with his work. Hope, especially since he got the designs right, exactly what she was looking for with her line. They shake hands and congratulate Deke on being hired at FC.
