Cameron Mathison (Drew Quartermaine, General Hospital) and Vanessa Mathison are calling it quits after 22 years of marriage.

In a joint statement on Instagram, they announced, “After 22 years of marriage, we have made the difficult decision to part ways. We enter this new chapter with deep love, kindness, and respect for each other. We hold gratitude in our hearts for the wonderful years we shared together. Our children have been and will continue to be our highest priority, and we will forever share in our devotion and love for them. We remain friends, and both wish the best for one another. We sincerely appreciate your respect for our family’s privacy during this transition.”

Cameron Mathison and Vanessa’s love story began in 1998 when they crossed paths as models in New York City. Their romance blossomed over the years and they tied the knot in a beautiful wedding on July 27, 2002. The couple’s union took place in Vail, Colorado, a place of special significance, where Cameron had previously proposed. Their journey together has been blessed with the arrival of their son, Lucas, born on April 20, 2003, and their daughter, Leila, who graced their lives on July 7, 2006.
