Days of Our Lives fave, Camila Banus is celebrating a special anniversary today. Banus debuted in the role of Gabi Hernandez on October 4, 2010, taking over the role from Gabriela Rodriguez. She also debuted in the role of Lola Montez on One Life to Live on October 3, 2008. Banus hence marks her 10th anniversary on the DAYS and her 12th anniversary in daytime today.
Since being in Salem, Gabi has transformed from being that sweet girl to sometimes a little darker person whose done some pretty questionable things. Gabi has worked as an Image Consultant, Model, Waitress and Receptionist while residing in Salem. She has been romantically involved with characters such as; Nick Fallon (Ex-Blake Berris), Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss), Will Horton (Chandler Massey), Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). For her outstanding portrayal of the role, Banus has earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in the category of Oustanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series in 2015.
