Happily hitched and all set for a romantic getaway, but then Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) life took a wild turn when she was struck by a car. The hit-and-run landed her in the hospital, and when she finally woke up, she’s faced with a troubling new development—the possibility of being paralyzed. When we last saw Sarah, she was unable to feel her legs, but now, with Xander (Paul Telfer) and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) supporting her, she’s putting on a brave face. The big question is: is she really paralyzed? Will this be her new normal all because of that hit-and-run driver?

Speaking of the driver, Jada (Elia Cantu) is busting her butt to get one step closer to finding a suspect in the hit and run. With what Sarah remembers, Jada already knows that it was a grey car, and there are a few in town. Now, with Paulina (Jackee Harry) by her side as she investigates, Jada thinks they just cracked this case wide open as she makes a shocking discovery.
As for Brady (Eric Martsolf), he’s still trying to wrap his head around the events of that night. It’s all a blur, but when he checks his car, he notices something red on it. It can’t be paint, so it must be blood. Now Brady is all worried that he may have committed a crime.
Then there’s Body & Soul and the expanding group working on the new soap within a soap. Naturally, Abe (James Reynolds) thinks he stumbled upon the perfect moment in the town square when Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) were arguing. So Abe and Johnny (Carson Boatman) ask the two to audition for Body & Soul, will they give it a shot?
