Former soap star, Robert A. Milli has passed away at the age of 86. 


Milli was born on March 15, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York, He passed away on July 18. 2019.

He was perhaps best known for his long-running portrayal of Adam Thorpe on the CBS soap Guiding Light, a role he played from 1972-1981, briefly reprising the role on numerous occasions during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He originated the role of Dr. Jim Craig on the ABC soap One Life to Live, playing the role from 1968 to 1969, and also appeared on a number of other soaps, including Another WorldSomersetAll My Children, and Love is a Many Splendored Thing. 

He is the beloved husband of the late Mary Jane (2015). Devoted father to Brian (Lisa) and Liza (Marshall). Papa extraordinaire to his cherished grandsons Nick, Harry, Robbie and Andrew. Steadfast friend to so many, both here and gone. 

Funeral Mass is set to be held on July 24, 2019 at 11am, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Tenafly, NJ. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Villa Marie Clare hospice, 12 West Saddle River Road, Saddle River, NJ 07458.
