General Hospital Recap February 26, 2024: Today on GH – Sonny has a job for Spinelli. Blaze’s mother, Natalia, surprises her with an early visit. Nina seeks Ava’s help. Carly is wary of John. Curtis encourages Drew.
General Hospital Recap February 26, 2024:
Kristina wakes up in Blaze’s bed, expressing gratitude for Blaze’s support. Taking the initiative, Blaze offers to arrange breakfast, and after making the call, she decides to take a shower. When Kristina wants to get up, Blaze insists on them having breakfast in bed.
Just then, Natalia (Eva LaRue making her GH debut) enters “Allison, mommy’s here,’ she says but encounters Kristina in the bed. Kristina introduces herself, sharing that she’s heard so much about Natalia, to which Natalia denies having heard anything about her. Upon exiting the shower, Blaze is surprised to find her mother there early. The situation escalates as Blaze questions Natalia’s presence and Natalia reciprocates, asking about the unexpected guest in her bed.
GH Recap Today:
Blaze’s mother asserts that she is waiting for an answer. Kristina smoothly covers by explaining that they were having a girls’ night that went late, which is why Blaze allowed her to stay over. Blaze’s mother accepts the explanation and comments on Blaze’s generous nature. Blaze questions how her mother gained access, to which her mother explains that she asked for a key while handling her paperwork. She expresses regret for arriving early, unaware that Blaze was with a friend. Tensions rise as Natalia insists that she knows her daughter well.
In response, Blaze challenges her mother, pointing out that she didn’t even realize she had lied to her earlier, and this deception isn’t unprecedented. Natalia expresses curiosity about the lie, prompting Blaze to ask Kristina to stay for the conversation. Blaze confronts her mother, admitting that she feels her mother doesn’t truly know her, and partially blames herself for that. Blaze reveals that Kristina previously lied to cover for her, and discloses that their relationship is more than just friendship.
General Hospital Recap February 26, 2024: A Job for Spinelli
Spinelli searches for the kids and Maxie. She comes in and Spinelli wonders if she was avoiding him because of the kiss last night. Sonny comes knocking. Maxie leaves and Sonny tells Spinelli he has a job for him.
Having utmost respect for Sonny, he says he has not worked for any in his field since Jason’s death. Spinelli tells Sonny this job can’t affect his family or put them in danger. Spinelli agrees to do the job and Sonny offers to fix the problem Spinelli is having at his apartment. However, Spinelli reveals that there is no leak. He staged the whole thing to get himself to move in to help Maxie with the financial situation. Then Sonny advises him that he could consider telling Maxie the truth.
Maxie returns and she and Spinelli talk once again about their kiss.
GH Recap Today: Drew Encourages Curtis
Curtis finds Drew punching. Curtis says he’s been there long enough to know he doesn’t want to be on his bad side. Either he has got a real beef with the bag or something is bothering him. Drew admits that it’s Carly thinking he has changed after his time in Pentonville because he is holding on to everything that has happened. Carly is not telling him how to feel but she thinks he is focused on pay back instead of moving on. Drew says he is focused on sending a message that he is nobody’s victim. Curtis tells Drew about the roller coaster of emotions he went through after he was shot. Drew feels the same and wishes Carly would understand that he needs to work through things at his own pace. Curtis asks how serious it is with Carly. Drew isn’t sure and asks Curtis about himself. Curtis tells him about reconnecting with Portia and Drew is happy for them. Drew suddenly starts realizing how wrong he’s been with how he’s been treating Carly.
General Hospital Recap February 26, 2024: Nina Seeks Ava’s Help
Nina hurries over to the gallery, determined to have a crucial conversation. She is deeply concerned that Sonny had served her with divorce papers, and she fears that she has lost him for good. Upon confiding in Ava, Nina expresses her urgent desire to speak with Sonny and tasks Ava with orchestrating a meeting between them.
Although Ava is hesitant, Nina emphasizes that she is running out of options. Ava warns Nina about the potential consequences of meddling in her relationship with Sonny. Nina then questions the current status of Ava’s relationship with Sonny, to which Ava clarifies that they are simply coexisting and focusing on co-parenting.
As they talk, a mailman delivers escrow papers for Wyndemere, signifying that Ava has finally found a buyer. Nina inquires about Ava’s future plans, but Ava expresses uncertainty due to Sonny’s reluctance to let her leave. Ava mentions Dex and Nina pushes to find out what’s going on. She desperately wants Ava’s help and says that if Sonny wants to end their marriage, the least he could do is to have the decency to say it to her face. Sonny walks in and says “Here I am.“
Sonny, despite his urgency to leave, decides to give Nina a minute of his time to hear her out.
GH Recap Today
Carly efficiently tends to customers at Bobbie’s when FBI Agent John Cates walks in. She warmly extends a greeting to him and invites him to sit anywhere. Despite being the owner, John is surprised to see Carly waiting tables. However, Carly explains that one of her waitresses will be late and she is perfectly capable of serving him herself.
She offers him coffee and brings up their previous encounter when John did not disclose the purpose of his visit. He reveals that he is in town for work and introduces himself as FBI Agent Cates. Carly quickly puts the pieces together and assumes that he is at her restaurant to gather information on Sonny. She bluntly tells him that he’s wasting his time trying to make a case against Sonny.
General Hospital Recap February 26, 2024
John insists that is not his intention, but he makes it clear that if it were up to him, Sonny would be behind bars where he belongs. He insists that he is in town to help Sonny. As the conversation unfolds, Cates realizes that Sonny never told Carly about the mob hits. Carly becomes concerned about her family’s safety, but Cates reveals that the hits are not focused on her family, but rather on major crime families. Later, Drew stops by Bobbie’s to see Carly.
