General Hospital is set to honor beloved and veteran actor, John Reilly in a special way. The ABC daytime drama is scheduled to air a special episode dedicated to the now-deceased actor who worked on the show for many years according to a report from Variety.

Executive producer Frank Valentini tells Variety that Reilly “was a huge part of the ‘GH’ history and will be honored in an upcoming episode that the writers are working on now.”

Reilly is known for playing Sean Donely on the show beginning in June 1984. The upcoming tribute will hopefully welcome some familiar faces that were a part of Sean Donely’s run on the show. The episode is slated to air this spring.
