After viewing the May 20th episode of General Hospital, the burning question on the minds of almost every viewer was: if Gregory actually dead on GH?. Gregory Harrison has indeed wrapped up his run and exited the show as Gregory Chase. His final episode was on May 21.

Joining the cast in 2020, Gregory Harrison took on the contract role of Finn (Michael Easton) and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) father. He took over from James Read, who had briefly portrayed the character.

In the scene, Gregory retired to bed, and a montage unfolded as he drew his final breath. The following morning, Finn discovered him lifeless in his bed.

Gregory Neale Harrison, who was born on May 31, 1950, is a renowned American actor. He is best known for his portrayals of Dr. George Alonzo “Gonzo” Gates on the CBS series Trapper John and as the ruthless business tycoon Michael Sharpe in the CBS series Falcon Crest. He also took on the role of Joe O’Toole in the Hallmark Channel’s expansion films Signed, Sealed, and Delivered.

Some of Gregory Harrison’s most recent work outside of soaps include shows like Chesapeake Shores, 9-1-1, and American Housewife. We can’t wait to see what he does next in his career!
