Mishael Morgan is back at her old stomping grounds to reprise the role of legal powerhouse Amanda Sinclair on The Young and the Restless. According to TV Insider, Morgan will first appear on May 16.
Who Is Amanda Representing This Time?
When the show first reached out, Morgan wasn’t given many details. However, in this interview with TV Insider, she teased what’s ahead for her character. “Well, she’s always representing somebody, and she represents high-powered people in society. So, Amanda’s coming back to represent somebody very mysterious, definitely high-powered, and she’s going to make some waves while she’s there.”

Very Mysterious? High-powered? Does it sound like anyone familiar? Of course, it sounds like the much-talked-about Aristotle Dumas. We’re yet to meet him. But when asked, Morgan notes she’s heard the fan theories and teases, “We’ll see.”
Mishael Morgan played Hilary Curtis on The Young and the Restless from 2013 – 2018. She returned to the series in 2019 as Amanda, who was later revealed to be Hilary’s twin sister.
She made history at the 2022 Daytime Emmy Awards by becoming the first Black actress to win the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a drama series.
