Soap star, Jon Lindstrom is celebrating his 65th birthday today. 




Jon Robert Lindstrom was born on October 18, 1957, in Medford, Oregon to parents; Robert (a TV advertising executive) and Suzanne Lindstrom (a homemaker). Jon has an older brother named, Jeff. Lindstrom is an actor, writer, director, musician and producer. As a drummer, Lindstrom recorded the album Feel Free to Do So with the band The High Lonesome for the Spark Records label. The record garnered much industry praise and “most-added” status for two singles on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2014, his award-winning feature film How We Got Away With It, which he co-wrote, co-produced and directed, was released.



Lindstrom is an active athlete who is an avid skier, scuba diver, surfer, and a proficient martial artist. In addition to those sports he enjoys traveling and has seen much of EuropeAfricaAsia, and the United States. He is an active member of the Directors Guild of America, the Screen Actors Guild, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and AFTRA. He is known for his soap roles such as; Kevin Collins/Ryan Chamberlain on General Hospital, Kevin on Port Charles, Craig Montgomery on As the World Turns and more. Lindstrom is also known for his numerous primetime and movie gigs.




He is married to actress and former As the World Turns co-star, Cady McClain. For his work on soaps, he earned two daytime Emmy award nominations as Outstanding Lead Actor in 2010 and 2019 for his work on ATWT and GH.
