‘Tis (almost) the season, and Days of Our Lives actor Lamon Archey — better known to fans as Eli Grant — is bringing some festive flair to BET+. The actor stars in Christmas By Design, the first of six brand-new original holiday films the streamer is unwrapping this year.
Starting November 20, BET+ kicks off its merry marathon with a lineup sure to warm hearts and keep the hot cocoa flowing. Titles include Christmas By Design, Son of the Preacher, Love After Holidays, Never Alone for Christmas: Memphis, Vera’s Holiday Flop, and A Soulful Christmas.
Christmas By Design with Lamon Archey
In Christmas By Design, Archey plays an IT expert who finds himself unexpectedly reconnecting with a woman from his past — a famous handbag designer (played by Monanik Dugar) whose holiday charity line gets derailed by a company data breach.
As the two team up to fix the digital disaster, they might just recover something far more valuable than stolen files: a little spark of Christmas magic. The film also stars Celeste Seda and Danielle LaRoach, directed by Patricia Cuffie-Jones and co-written by Cuffie-Jones and Kim Hornsby.

The holiday slate keeps on giving with a mix of love, laughter, and a few second chances:
- Son of the Preacher – Jasmine, a beauty entrepreneur with big dreams, meets Caleb, a preacher’s kid turned social media star. Their business deal quickly turns into something deeper, challenging both to rethink love, legacy, and faith.

- A Soulful Christmas – The children of two feuding R&B legends are forced to collaborate on a Christmas song remake. As their rivalry heats up, so does an unexpected romance — and they’ll need to find harmony both in music and in love.
From heartbreak to hope and boardroom drama to Beale Street blues, BET+ is decking the halls with stories that hit every note of the holiday season.
