‘Days of Our Lives’ actress Mary Beth Evans is celebrating her 32nd anniversary with the show today. After taking over the role from Catherine Mary Stewart, Evans made her debut in the role of Kayla Brady on ‘Days of Our Lives’ on May 23, 1986. In these scenes, Kayla returned to Salem after Steve Johnson [Stephen Nichols] was hired to scare her away from Cleveland. As she accepted a job from Tom Horton, Kayla established a low-income clinic on the riverfront and continues to cross paths with Steve. The two later became a hit supercoule and is often referred to as “Stayla”. Watch the scenes where Kayla Brady returned to Salem in 1986 and Evans made her debut.
