Viewers who tuned in to the May 20 episode of General Hospital were likely left with more questions than answers—along with a fair share of suspicions—following a cliffhanger that closed out the show. Here’s a look at what unfolded in today’s GH episode.
Nurses Ball Red Carpet
Port Charles residents donned their most fashionable attire for the biggest event of the year: the 2025 Nurses Ball. True to tradition, the evening featured a stylish red carpet—this year co-hosted by Drew and Nina—as well as a lineup of musical performances and, of course, a cascade of unexpected surprises.
Despite their somewhat awkward pairing for the event, Drew and Nina proved to be capable last-minute hosts, handling the red carpet duties with poise—or whatever else.
The Drama Begins: Tracy Quartermaine Arrested
No Nurses Ball would be complete without a dose of drama. On Day One, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) was shockingly arrested—framed, it seems, for allegedly poisoning Drew with ketamine.
Adding a touch of real-world flair to the storyline, ABC7 Entertainment reporter George Pennacchio made a guest appearance, appearing on-site with the red-carpet hosts.
Alexis’s Reveal
Meanwhile, Kristina and Alexis opted out of the evening’s festivities—for the time being. Instead, the two remained at home, where a heated conversation led to a major revelation: Alexis confessed she knows Kristina attempted to kill Ava.
Michael, Is that You?
To close the episode, Willow confessed her love for Drew, while a mystery man was shown aboard a plane, watching the events online. Speculation is swirling among fans that this mystery man could be none other than Michael—possibly returning to Port Charles with unfinished business.
Could Michael truly be on his way back on General Hospital? And is he the one keeping an eye on Willow and Drew? Only time will tell. (Photo: ABC)
