More soap alums are joining The Bay. Former Passions actress, Chrystee Pharris is among the number of alums joining the next season of the Emmy award-winning web series, The Bay.
Pharris who played Simone Russell on Passions from 2001 – 2006 will guest-star as a social worker named Velma Bennett in two episodes according to Soap Opera Digest.
In other casting news, John Aprea is taking over the role of Bay City mayor previously played by Nicolas Coster. William Christian will play the recurring role of a doctor, Dr. Marques Abraham. Carrington Garland joins in the recurring role of Kelly Johnson. Vanessa Williams (Valerie Grant, Days of Our Lives returns playing the new mayor of Bay City and Karruece Tran returns as Vivian Johnson-Garrett.
The Bay returns on Septemeber 1, 2020.
