General Hospital fans were surprised earlier this summer when Y&R alum, Robert Adamson, temporarily stepped in as Michael Corinthos while Chad Duell was out with Covid. He was very well received by the audience, although everyone was happy when Chad was able to resume the role.
Block taping had Adamson appear many times over the course of a few weeks with appearances by Duell sprinkled in as well.
As it turns out, we have not seen the last of Adamson in the role of Michael on General Hospital. Soap Opera Digest is reporting that he returns next week for 2 days. No word on why Duell had to be absent from set this time but at least we know the role is in good hands temporarily until he can return!
Welcome back to Port Charles, Robert!
