Actor, sports television personality, sports radio host, and sports journalist Stephen A. Smith is set to play a role on Law & Order on May 8th.
On the latest installment of First Take, Smith and his co-hosts discussed his recent dramatic scene on General Hospital, where he took out a woman dressed as a nurse attempting to inject something into Sonny’s IV. Smith noted that he didn’t rehearse for the scene and that he is set to appear in an upcoming episode of Law & Order this month.
While he kept details about his role under wraps, fans are undoubtedly intrigued.
Smith made his acting debut back in 2007 with a cameo as a reporter on General Hospital and later took on the recurring role of Brick since 2016. He frequently appears as an NBA analyst for ESPN on SportsCenter, NBA Countdown, and the network’s NBA broadcasts. Additionally, he has hosted The Stephen A. Smith Show on ESPN Radio and serves as a commentator on ESPN’s First Take.
