Steve Burton (Jason Morgan, General Hospital) recently took the stage with the help of his second-born, his son, Jack Burton, for some stand-up comedy in Nashville. “What a huge blessing this kid is. These last two shows I had, my son Jack opened for me,” Burton shared in the caption of a video highlight on Instagram, set to the energetic track of Jon Mero and LÒNIS’ “Feels This Good.”

The proud dad noted, “He’s never been on stage. Ever. He did 5 mins which I’m sure seemed like forever. The biggest fear is public speaking for most and on top of it to get up and try to tell a joke or two. It might be one of the toughest things to do. I just want to say how incredibly brave that is. I never would’ve done it at his age lol.” Burton added, “I was ditching high school drama because I was afraid to do my monologue in front of people. He was bold and went for it and did an amazing job. I’m so proud of him. Thanks to all who came! Til next time!”
