The Newman vs Newman war rages on!
Adam will come face to face with his father for the first time since Victor faked his death. Adam tells Victor that he is truly happy he is alive, and then drops a bombshell on his father’s revenge plan when he announces that he is leaving Genoa City.
Head Writer, Josh Griffith told Soap Opera Digest that “Victor knows that he has the best chance of managing Adam’s issues with the family if Adam remains in town.” So, Victor asks his son not to go, which causes the younger Newman to be suspicious of his motives. “Adam is convinced that Victor wants him to stay in town so he can punish him, but Victor tells Adam to stay in town and not run from his problems.”
Victor persists that he is being sincere, but Adam is no dummy! And according to Griffith, “Adam is coming from a place of anger, which leads him to make a shocking decision.”
