Gracyn Shinyei who has been starring as Emily Montgomery on When Calls the Heart since 2014 is celebrating her 16th birthday today!
Shinyei was born on April 14, 2006. She acts/voices, dances and sings, like her older brother Valin Shinyei. She started in toy commercials at age 3 and then progressed into film and TV work at age 5, Landing some fun roles along the way, she has been fortunate enough to play contrasting recurring characters like the sweet Emily Montgomery (When Calls the Heart), Amy Smith (The Man in the High Castle) and Guest Starring as the evil Amara on Supernatural. She also had her first lead role in the cartoon series which debuted in 2019.
