Y&R Recap February 5, 2024! Today on The Young and the Restless – Ashley and Traci gather intel in Paris, Chelsea and Adam question their parenting skills, and Devon gives Nate a warning.
Y&R Recap February 5, 2024
Sharon, Nate, and Devon get together to talk about proposals. They give her props for the awesome work she’s done for Cassidy First. She wonders if they’re waiting for Billy, but Devon says it’s just them today. Since there are no further questions, she figures they’re ready to make a deal. Tucker and Audra are on the other side of the room, and Nate notices them. He seems kind of distracted by it, and Devon picks up on that. Meanwhile, Sharon is feeling positive, and Devon doesn’t see why they can’t lock in this partnership in a few weeks.
Later, after Sharon leaves, Nate is still distracted by Audra and Tucker across the room. “What the hell is going on between you and Audra?” Devon asks. Nate notes there is nothing going on he’s just worried about Audra getting sucked back into Tucker’s world again. Devon reminds her that Audra is nothing but drama and someone he should steer clear of. Devon suggests they get back to the office so they could get Bill and Jill to sign off the numbers and get them back to Sharon.
Y&R Recap: Talk About Glissade
Tucker and Audra are talking about feeling a change in their dynamic. She’s hoping it sticks. He reassures her that he really meant it when he chose her, and it’s going to be all about them from now on. Audra asks about his plans for Glissade, but he admits he hasn’t figured it out yet. Instead, he suggests that they’ll figure it out eventually, but for now they should just bask in the afterglow. Audra agrees but reminds him that he made promises and she’s going to hold him to every single one. When he asks about her plan, she’s not sure constant suspicion is very romantic, but he thinks they can coax information out of each other. They raise their glasses to it and as they head upstairs, Audra brings up his plan for Glissade.
Y&R Recap: Chelsea and Adam Butt Heads
Adam gets in touch with Chelsea to tell her that he’s going to see Connor. But Chelsea tells him they need to talk about things first. He then mentions he’s at Society, and she agrees to meet him there. Later on, Chelsea talks with Billy, who suggests they should just chill and have some tea before anything else. Chelsea checks in with the school and from what they tell her, she realizes she has to tell Adam that it’s not the right time to go see Connor. Billy offers to go along for moral support, but she turns him down, fearing it might set Adam off.
As Chelsea’s about to leave, Sharon walks in and Chelsea congratulates her on her success. Chelsea heads out, and Billy fills Sharon in on the coparenting drama. Sharon asks if that’s why he missed the meeting about the partnership. Billy’s shocked, saying he had no clue about any meeting. Sharon wonders if there’s beef between him and Devon, but Billy notes that they’re getting along since his return to Chancellor-Winters. He assures her that everything’s gonna be awesome.
Talk About Connor!
Chelsea and Adam have a talk at Society. They both agree that they need to do what’s best for Connor. Chelsea tells Adam about her discussion with the guidance counsellor and head master of the school, and how they’re going to implement some new strategies for Connor.
They’re planning to provide extra support, more tutoring, and an evaluation to understand his needs. They also decide to hold off on visiting their son for now. This leads to a bit of an argument between Chelsea and Adam, as Adam feels left out of the decision-making process. He reminds Chelsea that they are both parents and should make decisions together. Chelsea defends her actions, emphasizing that they need to prioritize their son’s best interests. Eventually, Adam comes around and agrees. Later on, Connor reaches calls his dad. Seeing this, Billy notices that Chelsea and Adam have worked things out, which he is happy about.
As Nate and Devon roll into the office, they spot Billy and start chatting about the partnership deal with Sharon and why he wasn’t clued in about the meeting. Devon assures him it wasn’t intentional and emphasizes that there’s no shady business going on. Billy stresses the importance of sealing the deal to eliminate the Tucker threat. Once Billy leaves, Nate asks Devon if the threat is real. Devon is resolute about keeping his father at a distance. If Tucker still poses a threat, Nate suggests that having Audra as a friend is a positive thing.

In Paris, Ashley catches up with Traci at the Bistro. They’re chatting about what went down and whether Tucker might have greased the palms of the waiter to cover for him. Traci reckons there’s a chance Tucker didn’t do that, but Ashley is convinced her version of events is spot-on and Tucker’s just out for revenge. She admits she can’t stop thinking about Tucker’s side of the story. She’s thinking he could’ve bribed the waiter to lie, but she’s ready to get the truth out of the waiter.
Traci suggests they go home and leave it all behind, but Ashley refuses to accept defeat. Even though the place brings back tough memories and Traci’s ready to call it quits, Ashley’s not budging. Traci offers to stick around, but Ashley insists she go. She needs to handle this solo and talk it out with a friend in Paris to clear her head.
