Y&R Recap February 12, 2024: Today on The Young and the Restless –Victor and Victoria discuss how to help Nikki, Billy comforts Chelsea, and Ashley accuses her family of
betrayal.

Chelsea and Billy meet at Society. She informs him about recent call with Connor’s teachers, and turns out the news is even worse than she expected. Connor’s having a tough time in all his classes – he’s finding it hard to concentrate and focus. The teachers suspect it could be a processing disorder. Billy reassures her and tells her to take a deep breath, emphasizing that they’ll get Connor through this. In the meantime, he asks what he can do to help her out.
Enough about Chelsea, she asks what’s going on with him. So, Billy tells her about his abrasive encounter with Tucker at the GCAC. Tucker straight up accused him of being power hungry. Anyway, that got Billy thinking about Chancellor-Winters. He feels like Abbott should have more of a say in the company’s name, considering his mom’s role there. He’s not about changing the name, just adding to it. He thinks his mom feels left out, and wants to change the name to Abbott-Winters to fix that. Chelsea picks up on a vibe that it’s not just about Jill, but that Billy also wants to make his mark on the company. But he sticks to his story, saying he’s just looking out for his mom’s legacy.

Over at the Ranch, Victor gets Nikki a cup of tea and Victoria shows up, all cheerful to see them. She can tell something’s up with her mom and asks if she’s okay. Victor insists she’s fine, just a bit under the weather, but Nikki confesses to her daughter that she had a really bad relapse that really scared her.
They discuss Jordan, debating whether she’s alive or not. Despite the possibility of Jordan being alive, they warn Nikki not to let her get to her. Nikki admits to buying a bottle of vodka, unable to resist the urge, but then it disappeared when she stepped away. Victor reveals that he had all the alcohol removed from the house, which Nikki appreciates as well as him being supportive of her and Jack as she goes off to rest.
Victoria then asks her dad about what’s going on with Jack. He explains that Nikki asked Jack to be her sponsor, even though he’s not okay with it, because she’s in a fragile state. He also tells Victoria that when he and Jack found Nikki, she was passed out at the table.

Upstairs, Nikki has a terrible dream about being a homeless drunk and calls Jack to tell him that she understands why he told Victor, and that she’s not sure if she can go on. He reassures her that he’s there for her and she can call anytime, while Diane looks on.
Back downstairs, Victoria tells her father that Claire mentioned Jordan once said that if things got risky, a fire would make sense. Victor vows to find out who survived the fire and who didn’t, and if Jordan is alive, he’ll do whatever it takes to protect their family.

Audra totally loses it with Tucker for not being able to move on from Ashley. She straight up tells him that he’s totally obsessed and no matter what he says, Ashley has him completely “spellbound”. Tucker tries to explain himself, but Audra notes that she’s broken all her rules for him and he’s still lying. Tucker insists he just wants to know when Ashley’s back from Paris so he can avoid her and stay focused on Audra. He’s had it with all the drama and doesn’t want Ashley messing with what they have. Audra thinks it is going to be hard for him to avoid Ashley.
Ashley’s totally on Jack and Diane’s case for some answers. She’s totally feeling like some family intervention is about to go down and demands to know exactly what Traci told them. Then Jack explains that Traci just said she checked with all the other waiters at the Bistro and they all backed up Tucker’s story. But Ashley’s not having it, she straight-up thinks Tucker greased the palms of all the waiters to cover for him. Ashley goes on to list all the shady things Tucker’s capable of, just as Traci walks through the door. Ashley wastes no time and demands to know why Traci went behind her back like that.
Feeling Betrayed!
Traci was gonna spill the beans when everyone was around. Ashley totally loses it and feels like her family is treating her like she’s made of glass. She says, “You know what he’s capable of, why are you doubting me?” Traci reveals that she offered the waiters double the cash Tucker paid, but they all turned her down. Meanwhile, Ashley’s standing her ground and can’t believe they’re taking Tucker’s side. She’s crying, feeling totally let down by her own family.
Jack steps in, trying to make it clear that no one’s on Tucker’s side. Ashley’s feeling majorly betrayed, thinking she came home for love and support, but now they’re questioning her sanity. Emotions are running high, and Ashley storms off. Diane suggests giving her some space to calm down. She didn’t want say anything, but now she’s got to ask, “What was the point of all that?” Diane suggest the best part is that Tucker’s now out of Ashley’s life. Traci then asks if she is saying they shouldn’t have gone after the truth for Ashley’s sake. Diane reassures her that’s not what she meant at all.

Audra’s so over talking about Ashley, but she can’t help but wonder what Ashley learned in Paris. Maybe it’ll finally shut her up for good, Audra thinks. Tucker then tells her that his focus is on her now. He thought Ashley was the one for him, but now he sees that it’s her. Then he calls her his best friend, they start making out, and bam! Ashley’s at the door, demanding Tucker open it. He doesn’t answer, so Ashley goes downstairs and texts him that she needs to see him immediately, while he and Audra are upstairs in his suite getting it on.
