The series expands on the story that began with Sugarcreek Amish Mysteries: Blessings in Disguise, now one of UP Faith & Family’s Top 10 movies. This time, the mystery unfolds over eight brand-new episodes set in the charming town of Sugarcreek, Ohio.

Galadriel Stineman stars as Cheryl Cooper, a woman who arrives in town after a breakup and quickly finds herself pulled into a mystery that leads her into the heart of the Amish community. Blending cozy mystery elements with heartfelt storytelling, the series is based on the popular Sugarcreek Amish Mysteries book series.
Sugarcreek Amish Mysteries is set to premiere on UPtv and the Roku Channel in April 2026. Fans can catch up now by streaming the pilot movie, Blessings in Disguise, on UP Faith & Family.
According to current episode listings, Ordway is expected to appear in one episode as a character named Lacey. Meanwhile, her real-life husband, Justin Gaston, is also slated to appear in a single episode. Gaston previously played a recast Chance Chancellor on The Young and the Restless. He also originated the role of Ben Weston on Days of Our Lives, making his appearance a fun bonus for soap fans.
