Known for her signature blonde locks, Melissa took to Instagram to show off a darker, softer shade, a warm caramel-brown hue with golden undertones that’s giving pure autumn energy.
Sharing the stunning selfie to her account, she captioned it, “I did a thing… 🤎. Was inspired by @kristenanniebell in @nobodywantsthisofficial but having second thoughts…. Be honest, do I keep or go way more blonde?”

Melissa’s followers were quick to weigh in, and from the sound of it, fans are loving this fresh do. The actress has never been afraid to mix things up when it comes to her style — remember her bob cut a while back? That one had fans buzzing, too.
This time around, the response was overwhelmingly positive, not just from fans but also from her Y&R co-stars. Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) gushed, “You look AMAZING!!!!” while Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Baldwin) chimed in with a simple but powerful, “Love it!!!”

We have to agree; the color totally suits her. Whether she decides to stick with the caramel tones or go back to blonde, there’s no denying Melissa rocks any look she tries.
