As soon as I saw Loren Lott on Wednesday’s episode, I was elated. We had been wanting to pick this beautiful stylish young lady for Best Dressed Star but the weeks she was a contender; it was so hard to decide. But we were confident that sooner more likely than later this Queen would wear the crown.
I kid you not when I saw her I said to myself, that is it. She’s the winner this week no matter what. Then the news of her departure broke, my heart broke and…breathe…we knew for sure there would be no other winner this week. She was overdue.
Our Best Dressed Star of the Week is Loren Lott!!
Ana has had a couple of bumpy months trying to find her footing at LP since Devon promoted her. Devon wasn’t over the moon about Ana’s handling of Tessa’s promotion of her single/video. Devon raked Ana over the coals and hired Theo as her new boss which we all gave Devon a big side-eye for.
We saw a little something with Ana and Theo and we speculated if there was an Ana, Theo, Summer triangle on the horizon. Sigh. It wasn’t meant to be. Ana received a call from her daddy, Jett, that he had a relapse and was in the hospital. Jett’s voice became scratchy while performing. His condition got progressively worse and he is in the hospital. The doctors are running tests and as any good daughter would, Ana left to be at his side. Devon and Elena offered to go with her because that is what families do but Ana assured them it was okay for them to stay there. They had responsibilities.
We speculated if this would be temporary and if Ana would return. But unfortunately, it was confirmed a couple of days later that Loren was no longer with the show. We assume there will be some reference to her staying to care for Jett or something of that nature. SIGH. SIGH. THE BIGGEST SIGH.
That final scene, Elena reaching for Ana’s hand, Ana mouthing the words I love you, to be honest, we didn’t know that was her last scene until after it aired. We went back and watched. Truly in our feels and truly disappointed that Loren/Ana is gone.
We will miss Ana so much. There was so much untapped and unexplored story for this character. A huge missed opportunity by Y&R.
It was fitting Ana’s last scenes were with Elena and Devon and fitting (not in a good way) that they were in the penthouse…..
Ana was dressed in a show-stopping Iyndiaa Ted Baker Tutti Frutti Bodycon Striped Colorful Ring Detail Dress. Her make-up, hair, and her gorgeous smile all of it, all of her beautiful!
Loren, you are show-stoppingly stunning!
On a personal note, Loren, we hate to see you go. But Godspeed and soar my sistah, soar!!!
