Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Vernon Questions Bill
The latest preview for the week of August 17 kicks off with a party of four. As Ashley and Naomi enter, Jacob and Grayson yell “Surprise!” Next thing we know, they are all clinking glasses and celebrating.
Meanwhile, over at the Dupree manor, Kat and Chelsea talk to their grandmother about business. “We want to call it the Nikki instead,” Kat reveals. However, it seems Anita is not on board with that idea at all! “Child, are you trying to get disowned?” she asks.
Heather Armstrong’s Secret Meeting with Andre
And finally, we know who has been sending those mysterious gifts and texts to Andre… It’s Heather Armstrong, Joey’s sister!
“It’s good to see you,” Andre tells her as they have a secret meeting. “Now you can thank me in person,” she says flirtily, while gently rubbing her hand on his face.
Over at Orphey Gene’s, Eva is not happy with her mom. “You are still stuck on dad,” she points out. She tells her mom that she hates the fact that she is willing to toss aside a sure thing for a “never going to happen” thing.
Ted Clashes with Carlton and Vernon Confronts Bill
Meanwhile, we see Ted walking out the door while Leslie is left looking all bitter and angry. Speaking of Ted, he tells Carlton that there were many days when he wanted to deck him. Carlton offers an invitation right back; he tells Ted that if he still wants to work that out, he’s sitting right there!
In the final moments of the preview, Vernon pays Bill a visit in the hospital. “I’m sick, not blind,” Bill points out. Vernon isn’t having any of it, though: “Well, cut the crap. You’re trying to rekindle something with Dani,” Vernon says.
