Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Anita (Tamara Tunie) sit down for a difficult discussion. Still, Bill has always come through for the Dupree family over the years, and Vernon’s (Clifton Davis) latest request is pushing him to do it once again.
According to Vernon, his wife is already dealing with more than enough. On top of a cancer diagnosis, she now has to deal with construction noise coming from Leslie’s (Trisha Mann-Grant) property next door. That’s a lot for anyone to handle.
So Bill steps in again, trying to help the Duprees while also navigating that tough conversation with the Dupree matriarch.
Leslie’s Renovation Plans Hit a Roadblock
Meanwhile, Leslie is about to get some major news she definitely won’t like.
Her big renovation plans have been a huge deal for her. That’s especially true considering the kind of life she lived before. For Leslie, this project represents something bigger.
Unfortunately, things are not going as smoothly as she hoped.
Her plans hit an unexpected roadblock, and it puts her directly at odds with Vernon.
