Beyond the Gates spoilers for Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Election Night in the DMV has nerves frayed and appearances wagging tongues, while Dani (Karla Mosley) vetoes a late-breaking development and the Duprees have another reason to hang tight. Meanwhile, Jacob (Jibre Hordges) goes into hiding, and June (Jasmine Burke) comes out swinging.
Kat (Colby Nixon) and Eva (Ambyr Michelle) might be on the same side for once, while June may dare to step where Jacob has feared to tread so far. Elsewhere in the DMV, Vernon (Clifton Davis) and Anita (Tamara Tunie) have to pull it together at the same time Dani gets another upset, and the former Richardsons get votes as Martin (Brandon Claybon) learns whether or not he’ll continue in Congress.
Here’s a Soap Opera News breakdown of what to expect on Tuesday’s episode.
Key Takeaways
- Martin waits with bated breath on election night.
- Nicole and Ted look good together.
- Dani gets some disappointing news.
- Anita and Vernon are a united front.
- Kat concedes to her brother while Eva has her hopes up.
- Jacob plans to keep his distance.
- June has an interesting theory.
Get Off Ya Hands & Vote
Being mom and dad to Martin and Kat means that Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) and Ted (Keith D. Robinson), despite their divorce, will be there to show up when their grown-up kids have major events. With Tuesday being the day of the real-life midterms – and the way actual dates show up in Fairmont Crest – it can only mean the ex-Richardsons are on hand as their congressman son awaits re-election. Seems they’re going to present well, at least as parents, and it could be that’s going to get fantasies of a reunion churning again.
Then there’s Kat, who squabbles with Martin but not often – it takes a lot for the full-of-herself princess to admit she was wrong about something, so whatever has Kat giving Martin a victory must be a big deal. Simultaneously, Kat’s half-sister and full nemesis, Eva, will be crossing her fingers so tight about something, she might risk cutting off her circulation. Will this have anything to do with Kat, Martin, or the election, or does Eva have her mind on something else entirely?
The big question for Martin will be: am I going to be seated for a second term in Congress or not? It might be too predictable for him to win…could Martin, as part of a family who usually excels at everything, learn something from the humbling defeat of becoming a civilian again?
I’m Your Baby Tonight
Dani’s just barely had time to process the revelation of Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) cheating with Kalista (Kandi Burruss) and Hayley (Marquita Goings) apparently having Bill’s bun in her oven, but it seems the supermodel’s coping skills will be tested yet again with another piece of unsettling information. With Hayley set to have a real ultrasound with Bill in attendance, could this newest disruption in Dani’s life be confirmation that Hayley actually is pregnant?
And though the elder Duprees are lovingly supportive of everyone in their expansive clan, it’s usually the 50-year-old Dani that still needs babysitting…so if Vernon and Anita are standing up together, it must be to once again scrape Dani off the ceiling. If Dani keeps inserting herself in Bill’s business, Andre (Sean Freeman) just might send Heather (Ashley Jones) after her!
Brainstorming
Smitty’s still out on bail for murdering Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht), with Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) finally looking into the video showing him getting drugs from Max to pass to Lia, and trying to confirm Smitty’s (Mike Manning) insistence that every frame is fake. Naomi might as well, because Jacob isn’t doing much of anything to help – and now he’s going to play a game of keep-away with something or someone. Will the detective be Krazy Gluing his mouth shut about work to avoid any further conflict with Naomi, or is there another whose orbit he’ll be staying out of?
And don’t write June off – she may be a lowly waitress and former homeless drug addict, but Ms. Hughes would be in Mensa if they measured in street smarts. That she’s got her thinking cap on about something thought-provoking probably won’t have anything to do with what the lunch specials are going to be at Orphey Gene’s.
June was the one who warned Smitty about the lengths The Impaler would go to in the first place – will she offer up something that might prove Smitty’s innocence? Or might she have a different memory from her unhoused life that could finally put Jacob on a direct path to the crime lord in heels?
