General Hospital actress Briana Nicole Henry is celebrating her 29th birthday today.
Henry was born on January 19, 1992, in Broward County, FL to a cop father and jazz singer mother. She grew up in Florida and was the couple’s only child. She moved to Miami around the age of 7 and stayed there until she attended college. She went to the University of Southern California and got her BFA in theater acting.
While still an undergrad, she booked the role of Esmerelda on The Young and the Restless in 2014. Esmerelda was a love interest for Devon (Bryton James). Though she tested for the role of Jordan Ashford on GH in her senior year, she didn’t get the part until 2018.
