General Hospital’s Chris McKenna went live on Instagram this past Monday to check in with his followers, and he sounded exactly like how most of us feel right now. Congested and ready for a long nap.
The Show Must Continue
McKenna shared that his entire house was a disaster zone during the winter period. One person starts to sniffle, the next person is bedridden, and then the entire family is down. But in the world of daytime drama, the cameras weren’t put on pause just because an actor had a fever. They kept rolling, and he kept filming despite the congestion.
He took to Instagram to let fans know that his performance might sound a bit more “nasal” than usual. “I coughed my way through the scenes today,” he said, convinced that when the episodes air in the coming weeks, viewers will notice he was struggling a bit. “C’est la vie,” he added. We’ve all been there.
There’s a Fresh Face Coming
The real reason fans were glued to his live wasn’t just to offer tea, honey, or medical advice. McKenna dropped some serious hints about Brennan’s next move, and it sounds like things are about to get crowded, especially at the WSB office.
He didn’t give away the entire plot, obviously, but he did confirm he’s been filming exciting, and fun scenes that shift the focus away from Brennan’s usual orbit.
What Else?
The most exciting part of McKenna’s update is that Brennan is about to share the screen with a major legacy character. The hint? It’s someone he’s worked with before, but only briefly. That rules out Carly and definitely gets the speculation going.
Even more intriguing, he also revealed he’s filming scenes with a brand-new character viewers haven’t met yet. McKenna promised the show will be introducing this new mystery player very soon.
Speculating the Mysterious Guest
So who is this legacy character stepping into Brennan’s world? Looking at the current board, Emma Scorpio-Drake is the name on everyone’s lips. She’s been desperate to find out the truth about Anna, so walking into the WSB to demand answers would be a serious power move.
If it is Emma, then who is the new person? A fresh WSB contact? A new villain?
It’s always exciting when a show introduces a new face, especially when they’re dropped into a high-stakes environment. McKenna seems genuinely hyped about the new addition.
