It’s official, you can call him a married man. Conner Floyd, who is just weeks away from his onscreen debut as the new Chad DiMera on Days of Our Lives, tied the knot this weekend. Floyd married Carly Frei in an old-school Hollywood-style wedding in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 21.
The ceremony took place at The London West Hollywood and brought together around 220 guests.
The Big Day: Conner Floyd Gets Married
It was a full celebration, with friends and family coming in from all over to be part of the big day. The couple shared in a newly published piece with PEOPLE, they wanted “A weekend full of so much love and fun. Especially having family and friends who live all over, this was the one time we could get everyone together from all walks of life.”
The festivities actually kicked off the night before. Floyd’s parents hosted a welcome party at Sunset Tower Hotel, setting the tone for a weekend centered on love, family, and a lot of fun.
The next morning, before the ceremony, Floyd and Frei shared a quiet moment together. With the help of a skincare expert, they took time to privately read their handwritten vows to each other.
To bring their wedding dreams to life, the couple hired Katie Seefeldt, a wedding planner, to handle the necessary details.
As for who officiated on the big day, it was none other than their dear friend Hayes Beyersdorfer, who was present when they first met at The Den on Sunset Boulevard on February 14, 2020. However, they didn’t start dating until a year later. Fast-forward to 5 years, and you can now call them Mr. and Mrs. Floyd.
Music Makes It Better
Music played a big role in the celebration. For their first dance, the couple chose the Elvis Presley classic Can’t Help Falling in Love. They also made sure to include live entertainment throughout the night, something that clearly meant a lot to them. “We are huge music people, so live entertainment was a must,” Floyd states.
After the wedding, the newlyweds are heading off to Bora Bora for their honeymoon, giving them a well-earned chance to relax after a packed and emotional weekend.
Fans will soon see Floyd take on a major new role as Chad DiMera, but many already know him from his time as Chance Chancellor on The Young and the Restless, where he appeared from November 2021 to July 2025.
