After months of fighting their feelings and Sarah’s big oops while in bed with Rex, it looks like she and Eric (Greg Vaughan) will finally be hitting the sheets.
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) will have a talk with her mother, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), and she will come to the idea that she needs to tell Eric about her true feelings and her break up with Rex (Kyle Lowder). Eric being who he is will continue to try to resist her claiming that he doesn’t want to hurt his brother. Because he’s already been there AND done that before. Shout out to Brady!
According to Linsey Godfrey in the latest Soap Opera Digest, “She has to beat it into him a little bit” before he finally gives in. Eric, of course, is still dealing with his feelings for Nicole and their lost love. But he realizes that it’s over between them and that he really does love Sarah.
In what Godfrey describes as “emotional, emotional, emotional and then sexy” the two finally make love for the first time. It looks like the morning after will be just as explosive as the night as well. Rex shows to confront the two before he heads out of Salem. He tells them how the marriage should have never happened in the first place. Yeah, buddy. We ALL could have told you that one.
Rex will quit his job and head out-of-town leaving one last nagging blow to Sarah. She will never be Nicole.
