Two-time Daytime Emmy nominee, Rocci Chatfield, has passed away at the age of 93 on August 24th. Chatfield started her television writing career in the early 1960s and wrote for shows like My Three Sons, Little House on the Prairie, Generations, Knots Landing, and Days of Our Lives. The latter for which she earned her Emmy nominations for in 1978 and 1979.
In addition to her written works, Chatfield served as the governor on the Television Academy’s Writers Peer Group for six terms and spent another two terms on the group’s executive committee. She also was a member of the WGA’s negotiating committee during the 1988 writers strike and received the guild’s service award for her contributions to the organization.
