Days of our Lives Recap March 20, 2024: Today on Days of our Lives – Johnny suggests a location to Chanel for their honeymoon. EJ searches for Stefan. Eric senses Holly is holding back about Tate. Xander and Sarah enjoy some alone time together, but end up missing Victoria. Konstantin reminds Theresa about their plans to obtain the Kiriakis fortune.
Days of our Lives Recap Today March 20, 2024
Eric bumps into Theresa in the square. She’s thrilled to see baby Jude. Eric mentions that dealing with a teenager can be a handful. Theresa says that’s an understatement, and tells him to brace himself for the latest.
She explains that Tate is back at the halfway house, but now he’s got a restraining order, so he can’t go near Holly. Eric assures her that Tate will bounce back from this, and leaves with baby Jude.
Breakfast!
Sarah’s got breakfast all set for Xander. He tells her that last night was just perfect. They chat about his time in the cell, and he’s so glad to be back home. As they head to the bedroom, Xander mentions that they can always reheat breakfast later.
After they finish eating, Sarah tells Xander how much it means to her that they’re tackling things together. Xander says the one thing that’ll really make things better is bringing their daughter home, so they decide to get dressed and head out to go get her.

Victoria is just crying away, and Maggie is doing her best to soothe her. Then out pops Konstantin with a wild idea that walking around the room might do the trick, and he offers to give it a go. So he starts pacing around the room with Victoria while singing a Greek lullaby.
Maggie notices how tender and kind he is. Konstantin reveals it’s because he absolutely adores the little one and her grandma. He starts talking about his own daughter, and how he always wonders what she would be up to today.
And just then, Sarah walks in, followed by Xander, which really catches Maggie off guard since she finds out Xander got released on bail.
Xander Doesn’t Trust Konstantin
Konstantin mentions he’s got some things to take care of and dashes off to get ready and start his day. As he leaves, Maggie says what a surprise while Xander adds, “What a surprise indeed.”
Sarah thanks her mom for watching over Victoria. Maggie says it’s no trouble, but she adds that earlier, Victoria wasn’t having any of her, until Konstantin swooped in, sang her that Greek lullaby, and calmed her down.
Xander tells her that they’d prefer it if Victoria is alone with her when she babysits. Maggie tells him that’s not fair, because Konstantin lost his daughter when she was a young lady and that’s why he has this amazing way with Victoria.
Maggie inquires about how Xander got bail, and he explains that Harris was unable to identify his shooter. Following this, Maggie encourages Xander to consider giving Konstantin the benefit of the doubt. As Maggie departs to get ready for her day, Xander confides in Sarah, expressing his lack of trust in Konstantin and his intense dislike for the man.

Johnny and Chanel wake up in bed at the Salem Inn. Breakfast is ready, but Johnny says he’s not that hungry. Chanel doesn’t mind the cold eggs and saggy bacon, so they start kissing.
Chanel tells Johnny how lucky she feels to have him as a husband, especially because he was there with her at the hospital day and night when her mom was sick.
They chat about Paulina getting her miracle and Abe getting his memory back. Johnny admits that he used to dream about Chanel, and she tells him he doesn’t have to dream anymore because it’s a reality now.
Chanel suggests throwing a welcome home bash for Paulina since she’s being released today and starts making plans.
Later, they discuss honeymoon plans and decide to take up Sarah’s offer to use the Horton cabin, and maybe they can plan something more extravagant for later.
DiMera Mansion!
EJ desperately tries to reach Stefan by phone. He is angry, and Nicole walks in, asking what’s going on with his brother now. EJ explains that his brother is being infuriatingly illusive; he’s not answering his calls or responding to his texts.
Nicole wonders how she can help, and EJ is quick to kiss her, pointing out that her being there is enough. Holly comes downstairs and starts going off on EJ for being cruel to Tate.
EJ explains that while he had Tate arrested, he decided not to press charges, and he is back at his halfway house. EJ adds that he had a restraining order against the young man, and Tate has to wear an ankle monitor.

Holly is furious and points out that Tate didn’t do anything wrong; she says this is not fair, and if they only knew how sad this makes her. She notes that Tate does not deserve this.
Holly wants to go for a walk, and Nicole wants to join her. But Holly’s dead set on going solo. EJ’s quick to remind her about the restraining order and warns her not to reach out to Tate, as it’ll just stir up more trouble.
Given everything that’s going on, EJ reckons they should call off Jude’s bash. But Nicole isn’t having it; she thinks it’s a source of comfort after the loss of their baby boy and a way to make amends with Sloan.
Konstantin Catches Up with Theresa!
Theresa ends a call, thinking to herself that today’s gonna be a good day, but then she opens her eyes and sees Konstantin plopping down in the seat. She tells him the seat’s taken, but he says it’s taken by him.
Then he starts grilling her about their little plan to snag the Kiriakis fortune. Theresa says it’s not the right time, but adds that she was super close because Alex had an engagement ring to propose, but he got cold feet, so she moved out of his apartment.
Konstantin wonders if Alex has had a change of heart, but Theresa’s not sure because she is focused on her son. Konstantin tells her they got to fix that. He warns her to hold up her end of the deal, and then they’ll be set for life.
Theresa fires back, saying it’s only a matter of time before Maggie kicks him to the curb, but Konstantin argues that he’s making progress with her and she’s really into him.
Holly and Eric!
Holly is in the park when she encounters Eric and Jude. Eric mentions that he crossed paths with Theresa earlier, who updated him on Tate’s situation.
Holly expresses her regret for the events of New Year’s Eve, because of the turmoil that followed. She asserts that the allegations leveled against Tate by EJ and Nicole are entirely unfounded.
When Eric inquires about the truth, Holly reiterates her belief in Tate’s character. Eric offers to listen whenever she feels the need to confide in someone.
