Beginning Friday, January 23, the role of Dominic Winters on The Young and the Restless will now be played by Ethan Ray Clark.
A New Face Comes to Y&R
Dominic is the son of Chance Chancellor and Abby Newman, though biologically, he is Devon Winters’ child. Chance was unable to have children due to an injury, and Abby could not carry another pregnancy after her miscarriage years earlier.
Wanting to help, Devon volunteered to be the sperm donor, with Mariah Copeland serving as the surrogate. Together, they made it possible for Abby and Chance to finally become parents.
The role was previously played by twins River and Rainn Ware.
Spoilers for Friday’s Y&R reveal that trouble is on the horizon for Abby and Devon. Could it be related to their son? Meanwhile, Mariah gets a haunting message, and Audra and Holden make amends with Amy.
About Ethan Ray Clark
This is Ethan Ray Clark’s first foray into daytime soap operas, but the young thespian already has an impressive start to his acting career. Just recently, in a 2026 episode of ABC’s Abbott Elementary, Clark played Janine’s Student.
He also appeared in a Home Chef commercial and recently booked a role in his first feature film.
Just a few weeks ago, his management teased on Instagram, “Congratulations to @ethanrayclark on booking a recurring role on a network television show! Great job, Ethan!!”
It’s safe to say this recurring role is that of Dominic on The Young and the Restless.
