Bryce Durfee is having quite the glow-up year. Best known to daytime fans for his role as Vaughn on General Hospital, the actor has been quietly stacking credits across TV and film. Now he’s leveling up into full holiday-movie magic.
Bryce Durfee Cast in New Holiday Movie
Durfee has officially joined the cast of Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, Hallmark Channel’s landmark collaboration with Walt Disney World. Durfee joins what’s already shaping up to be one of Hallmark’s most talked-about Christmas films ever. The film sees Hallmark fave Lacey Chabert in a lead role.
Hallmark Channel, the undisputed #1 destination for holiday movie marathons, and Walt Disney World, The Most Magical Place on Earth, are teaming up for the first time ever to bring viewers an all-new original holiday movie packed with magic, romance, and plenty of pixie dust. Lacey Chabert and Travis Van Winkle will lead the film, titled Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True.
Joining them are Richard Kind, Christy Carlson Romano, Bryce Durfee, Taegen Burns, and Asher Alexander. Patrick Renna will also make a fun cameo appearance.
Chabert announced the project on Saturday, December 6. She made a special appearance straight from Magic Kingdom Park during Hallmark Channel’s broadcast of The Hallmark Christmas Experience: A Hometown Holiday.
Holiday Magic
The movie will be filmed on location at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. It is slated for a 2026 premiere during Hallmark Channel’s 17th annual Countdown to Christmas. Ryan Landels both wrote the script and will direct.
Hallmark’s Chief Brand Officer Darren Abbott highlighted the long connection between the two iconic brands, rooted in the friendship between J.C. Hall and Walt Disney. He said they’re excited to expand the partnership onto the screen with a joyful Christmas movie that reflects the best of both worlds.
To go along with the movie, Hallmark and Disney will also be releasing an exclusive holiday product collection inspired by the film. These include greeting cards, ornaments, gifts, wrap, and more. It is set to launch next holiday season at select Hallmark Gold Crown stores, Hallmark.com, and additional retailers to be announced.
ABOUT Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True
Lindsey (Chabert) heads to Walt Disney World with her extended family for a picture-perfect Christmas vacation. But the magic hits a snag when she discovers her room is right next door to Philip (Van Winkle), a disastrous first date she’d hoped to forget, who also happens to be on a family trip.
As their paths keep crossing, the icy awkwardness melts. Maybe they’re not so different after all. With a little Disney World sparkle—and a wish at Cinderella Fountain—Lindsey might just find a holiday romance she never saw coming.
