Joe Questions Willow on General Hospital

In the GH episode that aired on June 23, Sidwell made his stance clear to Willow that he needed her place as a hideout.

At the same time, Chase showed up to tell Willow in person that he could not accept her job offer to become her chief of staff. All of this unfolded while Sidwell eavesdropped from the hallway.

As Chase explained to Willow, he didn’t want to give up being a cop. He also made it clear that this was entirely his decision.

Not long after, Detective Joe Fitzpatrick arrived to question Willow about the night of Jordan’s accident after being tipped off by Lucy Coe with false information, unbeknownst to him.

Drew Found a Way to Fight Back

Willow promised to answer Joe’s questions after she checked on her husband and quickly raced to the bedroom, where Sidwell was with Drew. Once there, she did her best to convince Sidwell to leave, but we all know how stubborn he can be.

In fact, Sidwell made it abundantly clear that he wasn’t going anywhere—not without more suitable accommodations being ready for him.

Meanwhile, Chase began to suspect that Justine Turner was the one who had sent Joe to harass Willow. He pointed out that Justine seemed to be grasping at straws after unsuccessfully prosecuting Willow for attempted murder.

Although Joe revealed that he was following up on new information, he declined to share any details.

Once Willow got back, Chase advised her not to answer Fitzpatrick’s questions without a lawyer present. Even so, Willow admitted that something felt off about Joe believing she knew anything about Jordan’s car crash.

On top of that, Joe asked to use the bathroom, and Willow pointed him in the right direction. However, while she and Chase spent time conferring about the situation, Joe quietly slipped into Drew’s room and questioned him about Willow’s whereabouts on the night in question. Joe instructed Drew on how to respond.

One blink for no.

Two blinks for yes.

And that’s exactly what Drew did.

Through those blinks, Drew implied that Willow had been on Route 91 that night and was involved in the accident.

Joe updates Justine on GH

Just then, Willow and Chase entered the room, forcing Joe to quickly cover his tracks. He pretended he had simply gotten turned around while looking for the restroom.

Once the three of them left, Sidwell emerged from his hiding spot and confronted Drew. He wondered if Willow was really involved in the accident or if he was framing his own wife.

Back where the drama is, Willow declined to directly answer any of Det. Fitzpatrick’s questions. Instead, she told him to submit the request to her office since she couldn’t remember her exact schedule on the night of the accident.

After Joe finally left, Willow thanked Chase for warning her that Joe appeared to be acting in bad faith. In return, Chase vowed that he wasn’t going to let anyone take advantage of her again.

Then we saw Joe on the outside, on his phone, leaving a message with Turner’s office. He noted that he now had a new lead on Jordan’s accident.

So there you have it. Drew is clearly on a path to get his revenge against the wife who is ultimately responsible for him being in a locked-in state.

Drew is setting up Willow, and this may only be the beginning. A blinking Drew is a winning Drew? How do you feel about Drew taking revenge on Willow on General Hospital? Are you ready to see the tables turn?
