General Hospital viewers will be introduced to a new character by the name of Dr. Shawn who will debut on June 19, 2018. The newly created character is being played by American actor, Chad Doreck who already owns an impressive resume. However, this is Doreck’s first soap opera role which he would love to continue playing as he shared, “FAVOR ALERT! PLEASE stop by the General Hospital page & tell ‘em you’d like to see more of my character Dr. Shaw. I debuted on Monday. Thank you friends and fam!“
So who is Chad Doreck? Chad was born Chad Joseph Doreck on November 19, 1978, in Orange County, California. His first job was at the age of 6 where he appeared opposite dram girl Kelly LeBrock and Danny Elfmanor in the music video of the title track of the movie titled “Weird Science” in 1985. Chad is the son of Stephen Doreck, a Kentucky born contractor and Catherine Doreck, a Chicago born homemaker. He is the brother of Holly Doreck and former actor Stephen Doreck Jr. Chad graduated from the prestigious Orange County High School of the Arts where he majored in Musical Theatre and also briefly attended USC. Chad also does singing, writing, producing and modeling. He has modeled for Sketches, Vogue (Italian) and Nordstrom. He is also the co-owner of LA Coffee Company.
