After months of mentioning—spelling, and guessing, we finally have a face to the name: Billy Flynn is Aristotle Dumas on The Young and the Restless. And this Friday, June 20, the characters on screen will finally meet him—if they haven’t already.
The buzz started back in March when word got out that Flynn, best known as Chad DiMera on Days of Our Lives, was trading Salem drama for Genoa City intrigue. At the time, his role was under wraps, leaving many to speculate who he might be playing.
Now, Flynn is pulling back the curtain a bit in a new chat with Us Weekly, teasing that there’s more to Aristotle than meets the eye. He even likens his character to “the person behind The Great Gatsby,”
He adds, “It’s been a dream come true. I’m really grateful to Josh [Griffith] and all the people involved who made that decision and trusted me to come over and see me in this part that, on paper, I don’t know if it was me or not—but time will tell.”
So, don’t touch that dial—because Billy Flynn makes his The Young and the Restless debut this week and his character, Aristotle Dumas is about to shake things up. (Photo: Bill Inoshita/CBS.)
