The role of Kristina Corinthos-Davis on General Hospital will now be played by Kate Mansi. The role was previously played by Lexi Ainsworth who last aired on April 27th. Soap Opera Digest first reported about the recast with Mansi making debut during the week of May 22nd.
Mansi is best known for her Emmy award-winning run as Abigail on Days of Our Lives.
I'm sad for Lexi Ainsworth who is clearly a fan favourite… but I cannot help but think she simply wasn't available for what they needed, so they recast, especially with a name like Kate Mansi.
