Michael Fairman recently interviewed the actors from Days of Our Lives who are nominated for Daytime Emmy’s this year: Arianne Zucker (Nicole Walker), James Reynolds (Abe Carver), Stacy Haiduk (Kristen DiMera & Susan Banks), and Lindsay Arnold (Allie Horton).
Fairman asked the actors who they each called first when they found out they were nominated. Zucker replied with, “Normally Shawn [Christian] is my first call, but Kyle [Lowder] happened to be at work so I knocked on the door and said, ‘Come here, come here, come here!’ and he said, ‘What?!’ and I said, ‘Guess who got nominated?!’”.
So it’s clear Lowder will be in Salem again! Lowder was last seen as Rex Brady in 2020 when Kristen pretended to be Sarah and used Rex to break up Sarah and Xander. Rex thought Sarah wanted to be with him again and they were going to leave town together, but he left alone.
It will be interesting to see where things pick up when Lowder returns! Days of our Lives tapes several months ahead, so it’ll likely be a while before we see him on our screens, but we are looking forward to it!
