Hope Valley will have a few new faces as When Calls the Heart returns for season 9 on March 6.
Viewers can expect to see Chris Cope return in a new role. Cope appeared on the show previously as a Desk Clerk in 2020. This coming season, he will play Geoffrey Lewis. Matthew James Dowden on the other hand will debut in the role of Arthur Gilchrist.
Cope is an actor and producer, known for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (2016), Ice (2016) and Tricks on the Dead: The Story of the Chinese Labour Corps in WWI (2014).
Dowden is a well-known actor who worked in the popular TV series called The Flash. As an immensely talented actor, he has performed in The Flash (2014), Salvation (2017), and Mystery 101 (2019). Prior to joining the showbiz in 2014, Matthew was a British-born resident in Canada.
