In the world of daytime, you can never tell what happens next. Often times we find characters coming back from the dead, actors returning in new roles on the same daytime soap opera etc. The latest rumor in the rumor mill is that ‘Days of Our Lives’ actor Vincent Irizarry [Deimos Kiriakis], who is said to be making an exit in the coming months is headed to another daytime soap opera.
So, if it’s just a rumor – why did Soap Opera Intel choose to report it? Well, firstly when we saw his new years message we noticed the ending “Onward to 2017 we shall go, but I’m beginning it anew just as I had the one we’re now leaving, forever grateful to you all“. From that very moment we speculated that Irizarry was leaving ‘Days’ and our speculation later turned out to be true. At that point, we also interpreted this part: “but I’m beginning it anew just as I had the one we’re now leaving” of his sentence to mean he is headed to another daytime soap opera just as he was in 2016. So, could we be right?
Rumor has it that the famous David Hayward from All My Children’s Pine Valley could be headed to Port Charles on ‘General Hospital’. So, do you think this could be true? Would you like to see Irizarry return to his AMC roots?
