Today is a very special day for all the mothers in the world, But, it’s also a special day for The Bold and the Beautiful’s Jacob Young (Rick Forrester) and his wife Christen Young who are celebrating 12 years of marriage.
It was in April 2006 while he was playing the role of JR Chandler on ‘All My Children’ and after a run playing Lucky Spencer on ‘General Hospital’ that they announced their engagement. One year later, the happy couple made their way to the Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, New Jersey where they exchanged their vows and began their happily ever after journey. Together they have 3 children; Luke, Molly, and Grace. On this, their special anniversary both had nothing but good things to say. Jacob shared, “Christen, 12 years ago today, May 13th, I became the luckiest man alive. On that day a feeling came over me. That feeling was that everything from here on out was going to be ok, that I would always be forever safe in your loving arms. We have grown together and have become even closer. One thing is for sure, you are that person, the love of my life and that love for me, will only happen once. You are an amazing force, intelligent and strong. Gorgeous yet kind. An amazing companion and an incredible mother. I love you! Happy Anniversary my love.” While Christen shared, “Happy 12th Anniversary my love 💋 Thank you for being the most loving, caring, wonderful husband! You have the kindest heart and Soul.
