Actor Nicholas “Nick” Benedict has passed away after a short illness. He died on July 14, 2023, his 76th birthday. He had emergency spinal cord surgery on July 2 and was admitted to hospice on July 4, paralyzed from the neck down. He died 10 days later, surrounded by his loved ones.
Benedict was best known for his roles in daytime, appearing on All My Children, The Young and the Restless, Tribes, Santa Barbara, and Days of Our Lives. His acting career spanned over 40 years and included many roles in television and movies.
Benedict lived in Arizona and is survived by his wife of 22 years, Ginger. A GofundMe has been set up to help her with expenses. We send our deepest condolences to all of his loved ones and fans.
