Soap veteran, Vincent Irizarry recently laid to rest a dear family member. His cousin, Lauren Irizarry passed away approximately a month ago at the age of 38. He wrote on Instagram: “My beautiful cousin in body and spirit, Lauren Irizarry, left us over a month ago, leaving all of us in our family, along with her great many dear friends who love her, heartbroken by the sudden loss. She’s being celebrated tomorrow in Brooklyn by those same friends and family who will forever love and miss her. My sorrow is compounded by the fact that I can’t be there personally to celebrate her life and mourn her loss with my uncle Johnny, whose been the equivalent of a third brother to me throughout our lives as a family, and with my daughter, Siena, who loved Lauren like another sister throughout their years together in Brooklyn, due to NY travel restrictions. Though I’m so grateful to have been able to spend time with her last Sept while visiting my Siena in Brooklyn, I can’t help but grieve the unshakable reality that it will forever be the last moment I will look upon her beautiful face… RIP our beloved Lauren… #forevermissed #foreverloved #38yearstooyoung #familyforever“.

Irizarry is known for playing Dr. Jordan Armstorng on The Bold and the Beautiful, Deimos Kiriakis on Days of Our Lives, David Hayward on All My Children, David Chow on The Young and the Restless, Lujack on Guiding Light and more. We do send him our love and good thoughts at this time.
