The Bold and the Beautiful’s latest storyline has been a divisive one among viewers. The love triangle between Eric, Quinn, and Carter took quite an interesting turn when Eric, who is unable to satisfy his wife sexually, gave her permission to seek out Carter to fulfill those needs.
Veteran soap star John McCook took the opportunity to address the fans from his dressing room on Instagram. “There’s a pretty complicated story going on right now,” he started. “I understand that. But I want to thank you for watching. I know there are a lot of different reactions and opinions about what’s going on here right now but the important thing is that you’re watching and you’re all engaged in the story.”
The actor went on to call the character his friend. “…I’ve seen him through a lot of different evolutions. His happiness and his sadness. Watching him make good decisions and bad decisions I don’t really agree with sometimes.” He did reveal that he appreciate the fans sticking with him and that there is a “good story” and a resolution in sight.
