Tricia Cast (Nina Webster, The Young and the Restless) is celebrating her 55th birthday today.
She was born on November 16th, 1966, in Medford, New York. Her first acting role was in the TV show “The Bad News Bears” as Amanda Wurlitzer in 1979 [along with Kristoff St. John (Neil, Y&R). Her first soap opera role was in “Santa Barbara” as Christy Duvall in 1985. She landed the role of Nina Webster on “The Young & The Restless” in 1986 and she won a Daytime Emmy in 1992. She decided to take a break from acting in the early 2000s. Fans are always delighted when she returns to Y&R as Nina. She is currently on the show and is doing a fantastic job at portraying a grieving, heartbroken mother over her missing-assumed-to-be-dead son, Chance. Perhaps another Emmy is on the horizon?
