It was a very tough task to make the selections again this year. Nevertheless, Soap Opera News sat down to compile the list of top breakout stars for 2022. We took into consideration for a breakout star the following: a breakout star is a star in serial fiction, usually, stories involving an ensemble cast, who becomes more prominent, popular, discussed, and/or imitated than was originally intended or expected.
