The nominations for the 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, set to take place this October in Pasadena, were announced this week, and the competition for Outstanding Lead Actor is fierce.
This year’s nominees include Paul Telfer, Eric Martsolf, Peter Bergman, Greg Rikaart, and Dominic Zamprogna. So now we want to hear from you — who do you think should take home the trophy? Cast your vote below!
A Look at the Nominees:
Peter Bergman
A soap opera legend, Bergman has already taken home the Lead Actor Emmy three times for his iconic role as Jack Abbott on The Young and the Restless — in 1991, 1992, and 2002.
Eric Martsolf
This marks Martsolf’s third nomination in the Lead Actor category. He previously won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2014.
Dominic Zamprogna
Zamprogna scores his second nomination in this category. If he wins, it will be his first-ever Daytime Emmy Award.
Greg Rikaart
Best known for playing Kevin on Y&R and now Leo on Days of our Lives, Rikaart won a Supporting Actor Emmy in 2005 and has received multiple nominations in that category. This is his first time being nominated in the Lead Actor category.
Paul Telfer
Telfer earns his second overall Emmy nomination and his first in the Lead Actor race. A win this year would also mark his first Emmy win.
